Data we collect

  • Account data: email, username, display name, password (stored only as a secure hash), date of birth, profile photo, bio and website.
  • Content: videos, sounds, comments, messages and the information you add to them (titles, hashtags, location if you choose to add it).
  • Activity: videos you watch and for how long, likes, comments, shares, follows, saves, searches and reports.
  • Device and security data: IP address, browser/device information, login history and active sessions.
  • Precise location: only if you allow it, to show the Nearby feed or tag a video. Coordinates are rounded and never displayed publicly.
  • Payments: handled by payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). We do not store full card numbers.

How we use data

  • To provide the Service, show your profile and content, and deliver notifications.
  • To personalize your "For You" feed. You can reset recommendations and choose interests in Settings.
  • To keep the platform safe: detect spam, fraud and abuse, enforce our rules, and protect accounts.
  • To give creators aggregated statistics about their content.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

Public content is visible to everyone. We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, email, video delivery, payments) under contracts, and with authorities when legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can access and download your data (Settings → Your data), correct it, make your account private, deactivate it, or delete it permanently. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (such as objection or portability). Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL].

Retention

We keep data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your profile and content, except information we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.
